Saint Owen is elevating eyewear; placing immense emphasis on singularity and exclusivity; they deliver edgy yet elegant, one-of-a-kind pieces with exceptional details.

Handcrafted in Italy and Japan, the brand’s small-batch production and limited edition pieces are executed by skilled artisans with unmatchable expertise.

Saint Owen is based in Huntington Beach, Ca.

As Saint Owen continues to grow, they felt their old identity didn’t properly communicate the brand’s ethos. Visually, they wanted a logo that redefined their position within the industry and spoke to their core values: grit and grace.

An important factor was making sure the logo was legible when engraved on frames, without distracting from the intricate design and unique accents of the framework.

Staying true to the original monochromatic color, I created a primary (and secondary) wordmark that is heavy yet elegant, strong yet simple; maintaining the clean and refined aesthetic they were looking for.

The result parallels the brand’s persona perfectly.
